Important information regarding your booking and journey with Marvelous Expeditions.
Understanding Your Agreement
Please read these policies carefully. They form part of your contract with Marvelous Expeditions.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, but due to the nature of international group travel and associated non-refundable expenses, please review our policy carefully before booking.
Cancellation Policy
In accordance with U.S. regulations, you are entitled to a full refund within 24 hours of booking. After this 24-hour window, all payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, with no credits issued—regardless of the reason for cancellation. This is due to the upfront costs associated with securing accommodations, activities, and non-refundable international flights.
We strongly recommend purchasing "Cancel For Any Reason" travel insurance immediately after booking to protect yourself against any unforeseen emergencies or changes in plans. Please note:
- You are fully responsible for securing your own international flights. Waiting until the last minute may result in significantly higher fares.
- Marvelous Expeditions is not liable for any flight-related issues or cancellations that arise due to your delay in booking flights.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for such cases.
Marvelous Expeditions reserves the right to cancel or postpone a trip due to extenuating circumstances beyond our control. In such rare cases, we will provide guidance on next steps.
Late Payment & Fee Policy
- A $50 late fee will be automatically applied on the 5th day of non-payment.
- Your booking will be automatically canceled after missing two consecutive payments, and all previously made payments will be forfeited.
- It is your sole responsibility to track your payment schedule. Marvelous Expeditions does not send out payment reminders.
Travel Requirements & Responsibilities
As a participant, it is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all travel documentation and entry requirements, including:
- Valid passports
- Required visas
- Vaccination or health forms
Failure to obtain these documents—or unexpected changes in entry policies—will not result in a refund or credit.
Cancellation Process
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to: marvelousexpeditions26@gmail.com. Cancellations cannot be made through the website or social media.
By booking a trip with Marvelous Expeditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation and refund policy. We are relying on your representations and will not be held liable for refunding any payments beyond the 24-hour grace period.
